Every industry has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the construction and housing industry is no exception. According to a recent survey by the [Associated General Contractors of America](https://www.agc.org/news/2020/04/10/forty-percent-construction-firms-report-layoffs-amid-widespread-project), about 40% of construction firms have had to lay off employees due to canceled projects and/or equipment and material shortages. Nearly three-quarters of firms are looking to loans from the Paycheck Protection Program to avoid additional layoffs.

**BEST PRACTICES/WARNINGS:**

- Do not stretch Product more than 3 inches.
- SillDry sill pan should not be installed in a rough opening that is smaller than the Product's unstretched length.
- Add 1" to recommended height of the manufacturer's rough opening to accommodate the built in ½" (8°) slope in the SillDry sill pan.
- Placement of pan head screws (not included with sill pan) indicated on diagram.
- Do not screw through horizontal leg or accordion.
- Open nail holes or other physical damage to the SillDry sill pan caused by transportation, misuse, improper installation, storage, tampering, modifications or unauthorized repair voids the SillDry Limited Warranty.
- Never reuse the Product in a second window installation.
